Legal notice and privacy

This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics and asks you for nothing. This page names its publisher and its host, and says what becomes of the little personal data a visit or an e-mail involves.

The address without www, airspeed-services.com, is only redirected to www.airspeed-services.com, by the domain’s registrar, GoDaddy.com, LLC.

E-mail for the domain is hosted by Proton AG, Route de la Galaise 32, 1228 Plan-les-Ouates, Geneva, Switzerland.

Intellectual property

The text and photographs on this site may not be reused without permission. The typefaces, Jost and EB Garamond, are used under the SIL Open Font License.

Privacy on this site

The site itself collects nothing about you:

• it sets no cookies;
• it runs no analytics and carries no advertising;
• it has no forms;
• it loads nothing from any other site: the pages, the typefaces and the photographs all come from this one.

To deliver each page and to protect the site from attack, the host necessarily receives your IP address and the details of each request, such as the page asked for and the browser used. Cloudflare handles them on my behalf, as my processor, as its privacy policy explains. If you type the address without www, the registrar’s server that redirects you sees that first request too. If a page fails to load, your browser may also send Cloudflare a short report of the error. Cloudflare states that these reports carry no personal data, and that it does not log the IP address they come from.

If you write to me — at info@airspeed-services.com, or at gm@airspeed-services.com about the Gendec app — your message, and anything attached to it, is received and stored by Proton, which hosts the mailbox. I use it only to answer you. I keep it for as long as our correspondence needs it, and pass it to no one else unless answering you requires it.

The basis for both is my legitimate interest in running the site securely and in answering those who write to me. Cloudflare, GoDaddy and Proton may handle this data outside Monaco.

You may ask to see what I hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to have its use restricted or to object to it, or to receive a copy you can take elsewhere, by writing to either address. Monaco’s Law No. 1.565 of 3 December 2024 on the protection of personal data sets out these rights. If you believe your data has been mishandled, you may complain to Monaco’s supervisory authority, the Autorité de Protection des Données Personnelles (apdp.mc).
